Terms of Service (draft)
These terms cover access to the NimbusMint Partner API (api.nimbusmint.bot/partner/v1) and these docs.
“NimbusMint”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of NimbusMint (TODO: legal entity name and address). “Partner” and
“you” mean the organisation we have approved for API access.
1. Access
Section titled “1. Access”- Access is by approval only. We issue keys after reviewing a request and may decline any request.
- Keys are issued to you, for the use case you described. You may not share, sell, sublicense or lend them, or let anyone else use the API through your keys.
- You call the API from your own servers. Keys must never be placed in browsers, apps or public places.
2. Your responsibilities
Section titled “2. Your responsibilities”- Keep keys confidential and tell us at once if one may have leaked. You are responsible for all use of your keys until we revoke them.
- Keep your IP allowlist accurate.
- Stay within your rate limits and do not try to get around them, probe for weaknesses, or disrupt the service.
- API data identifies your app’s users. Use it only to run your integration for those users, protect it as
personal data, mask it before showing it publicly (for example use
handle, not usernames or wallets), and delete it when your access ends. - Follow the laws that apply to you, and show NimbusMint data in your product accurately.
3. Our rights
Section titled “3. Our rights”- We may change limits, scopes and the API itself; we announce breaking changes to v1 in the changelog before they ship.
- We may suspend or revoke keys at once if we believe they are misused, leaked or a risk to the service or its users, and we may end access for breach of these terms.
4. Data
Section titled “4. Data”- The API returns the mint activity of users who signed up through your app, with their identity: NimbusMint user ID, Discord ID and username, and wallet addresses.
- How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy notice.
5. Fees
Section titled “5. Fees”TODO: pricing, billing and payment terms, if any.
6. No warranty and liability
Section titled “6. No warranty and liability”- The API is provided “as is”, without warranty of availability, accuracy or fitness for a purpose.
- TODO: limitation of liability, indemnity.
7. Changes and ending these terms
Section titled “7. Changes and ending these terms”- We may update these terms; the new version applies from the date shown at the top once published.
- Either side may end access at any time. Sections 2, 4 and 6 survive.
8. Law and contact
Section titled “8. Law and contact”TODO: governing law and venue. Contact: through your NimbusMint ticket or the Get API keys page.
